In the vastness of a starlit night, Anansi felt rather insignificant. He looked up and sighed, “Why can’t I shine as bright as these stars?”

Hearing his lament, Sanaa, the brightest star, called out to him, “Anansi, each of us has a light. Have you found yours?”

Anansi was puzzled. “I’m not luminous like you. How can I possibly shine?”

Sanaa whispered, “It’s not the glow but the impact of one’s deeds that make them shine.”

To show him, she dimmed her light for a night. The world became a shade darker, animals lost their paths, and many lamented the absence of the brightest star.

Realizing the void Sanaa’s absence created, Anansi understood her message. He went back to his village, helping others, spreading joy, and imparting wisdom. Over time, he earned respect and admiration, not for any radiant glow but for the brilliance of his heart and actions.

Moral: It’s not our exterior brilliance but our internal kindness and wisdom that truly makes us shine.
